Late 1st to early 2nd for Nuk. 3rd or 4th round for AE

My un-biased opinion

I certainly think Hopkins is a first round talent but if i had to put money on where i think he'll go, i'm gonna say early 2nd round. perhaps to miami. they need a receiver bad and probably won't take one in the first round.

I think Ellington is much harder to predict. My prediction for now is late 3rd round. But that could rise or fall after the combine (probably more room to fall than rise). I think he definitely has higher value than a third round but his size and history of injuries will hurt him.

Hopkins 2nd - Ellington 5-6

Hopkins may be the best pass catcher in the draft. His lack of top end speed will probably keep him out of the first round though as the NFL (right or wrong) puts such a premium on the 40 time.

Ellington is probably better than 5th round talent, however the RB position in the NFL has become plug and play. Very few RB's warrant a high draft pick anymore because of all the specialization. There seems to be no real pattern of success outside of the elite backs other than opportunity (See Alfred Morris this year - undrafted).

Add in his durability issues and I think teams will look at him as a specialty back with potential, but not a back that can take a ton of carries. This puts him into the tail end of the draft in my opinion.

Last game watched by so many is going to help Nuk

and really hurt AE unfortunately - because of it Nuk may go in late first rd. while AE, unless he does really well in combines, may go way down? Hope not?

I think both have a tremendous amount riding on the combine (if Ellington is going to the combine, haven't heard anything about his injury). I believe Nuk could be late 1st with a good combine, and Ellington probably 5/6. Wish both nothing but the best
