My response to FFRF's Easter Challenge on Facebook

Not only can I tell you what happened on Easter better known as Ishtar, but I can also tell you what happened in 325A.D during the 1st Council of Nicaea. Emperor Constantine was not a believer in the God of Abraham, but instead believed in the worship of Pagan Gods and practices. The 318 members of the chamber all voted to remove 54 gospels from the doctrines that you once preached. This was done with direct influence from an Emperor who didn't even follow the Christian faith. I'm sure that there was a little bit of power flexing in the chamber by Constantine. Also, King James was another man whom the modern day Christians hail as being a Godly man. He was a homosexual pedophile and that has been proven as well. I do not believe in Yeshua Bin Yousef because of what some pastor tells me about the Bible. I believe in the Risen Savior because of (2) basic reasons.
1. Historical evidence points to the stories of the Bible to be truthful and accurate. Science can only speculate a theory of how many layers of the Earth there are. After all the exploration teams have only been able to dig down 12km into the Earth's so called crust. Evolution can only speculate a theory of how old the Earth is seeing as carbon dating doesn't go back a million years.
2. Going back a thousand years to prove something to be truthful through carbon dating is minutely effective. However, that isn't the question. Can an atheist foretell what is going to happen among men in the next 8,000 years? I think not. I mean science can predict the weather for at least 10 days with a 85% accuracy. Anyone with a proper almanac and Doppler Radar can do that. The fact remains though that the Bible has predicted the events of MAN dating back to thousands of years ago. For example: Syria has never had a civil war and is one of the Oldest Civilizations that still remains in tact today. However, the book of Isaiah Chapter 17 states that Damascus would no longer exist as it would become a ruinous heap. Well if you haven't watched the news lately then let me notify you of what is happening there just as the Book of Isaiah said it would happen. In fact, the nation of Syria is in jeopardy of becoming a failed state. First time in it's existence that this type of event has happened. Research for yourself. In fact our buddy Yeshua Bin Yousef spoke of folks just like you in the Book of Matthew Chapter 24. Those who would abandon their own faith. The nation of Israel is widely known for preserving historical locations, buildings, and landmarks. The burial tomb of Christ is empty brother and that is not a lie....
Bonus reason: The MAIN reason why I BELIEVE in Christ is because of the evidence of change in my life due to him. I have battled with addiction, rage, anger, hatred, and bitterness. Now that I have Christ all those things are gone or at the very least suppressed to a large margin of non-existence. You can state that it is all make belief or just thoughts in my mind, but who are you to argue with my personal experiences. I also know of cancer patients who were left to die by MEDICAL Science and had faith in God to be healed. Guess what, they play football, basketball, and soccer now. No evidence of cancer anymore. This is without the treatments from Medical Science.
My recommendations surrounding Clemson Football Coach Dabo Swinney would be for you to attend to your business in your very small circle of friends. I am not quite sure how things work in Wisconsin, but here in South Carolina we make it our mission to mind our own business. Furthermore, I may add that you folks at FFRF are barking up the wrong tree. Most of your claims of Coach Dabo Swinney violating the Constitution are baseless and without evidence. The Constitution actually grants Head Coach Dabo Swinney to practice his beliefs whenever and where ever he stands in natural form. In other words, YOUR RIGHTS END WHERE HIS BEGINS... As long as discrimination has not been evident then your argument is invalid and may lead to a civil action against FFRC. My suggestion is to leave us Clemson Tigers alone because we are THE Most Passionate Fan base in Collegiate Football in the US and we stand by our coach. Even our in state Arch Rivals are now behind Head Coach Dabo Swinney. I would like to point out that defamation of character can be a rather expensive lawsuit. If I were you guys then I would just pretend that a letter with horrible grammar was never sent to the Clemson University Administration Staff. You guys picked the wrong man, state, and university to fight with.
Good luck in your endeavors on seeking out the belief in nothing and I will continue to WORSHIP GOD anytime and any place as it is my right to do so regardless if it offends an atheist.
Blessings,
Travis Lee Hamrick

"The nation of Israel is widely known for preserving historical locations, buildings, and landmarks. The burial tomb of Christ is empty brother and that is not a lie...."
If you honestly point to this as evidence backing your case, then you really a moron. I'm sorry if that offends you, and my hat goes off to you for overcoming your problems...but YOU are the one who got your life together. Your strength came from within yourself. If you want to believe that a mythical person who was created 2000 years ago is the inspiration for your internal power, than that is your decision, and that's what freedom of religion is all about.
However, It doesn't mean that you're beliefs are any more correct than somebody else's. I applaud you for responding to these idiots because they really are ridiculous and need to be shut-up. Mindlessly bantering them with your own personal beliefs aren't isn't going to accomplish anything or mean anything to them.
Anyways, just my 2 cents. These FFRF @ssholes need to get flooded with complaints from us. Go Tigers
