The guitar, believe it or not, is actually priced maybe a little below the market value. I wouldn't pay that for one, but that model does actually fetch somewhere in the 4k range. ESP is an excellent manufacturer, and the guitars are coveted by metal shredders. I really like ESP basses, I've got one and they are tone monsters. That said, I have no idea why that model values out that high because of the paint job, George Lynch's endorsement, or the fact that it's a Japanese-made (which is the coveted model since it's a Japanese company) but in my mind, it's probably about 3k more than I would pay for it personally. Most artist signature models from every manufacturer are not worth the extra cash in my opinion. The one exception I could mention would be the Duff McKagan Fender bass, which is a very nice playing and sounding bass that is (or was) priced at its actual value of components and features.

But yeah...the guy's attitude is rotten. Like he thinks he's George Gruhn or somebody, LOL.
