Purnell was the reason I started getting the tickets and supporting the program. After graduating during the Shyatt years, Purnell was a nice change up. I've supported Brownell in every way I can. But Brownell is starting to have the same feel as T. Bowden. And I don't find his brand of ball compelling to watch, although the shortened shot clock has at least livened it up a little. Love this team, but I don't see how this season ends pretty. Hope I'm wrong, so we'll see how it turns out.

I feel sad for fans like you with this type of attitude. I have seen some great Clemson basketball over the last 20 years. We are having a really good year, but then a poster like you puts something like this on the board.

Hello! The poster apparently didn’t comprehend the loss of two key personnel against Duke. While absolutely no fan enjoyed an off shooting afternoon the fact we tied the game at 57 was a testament to the grit of a very good team despite the opponent who had more depth. Heck not one poster likes losing, but inspite of your attitude, I would not be surprised if Brownell actually was approached by other programs after this season.
Perhaps you might want look at matters differently, especially with all the team has overcome. Our staff by the way is considered by their peers to be quite good.

Personally I'd love to see us be consistant competitors year in and year out.Perhaps this is the year that starts that?Clean slate given to Brownell and let's see if he can do it again next year.

are as real as it gets. I've done the IPTAY Rep gig until parenthood and don't really stress about what people think. I do find it humorous that people flip so hard when they don't like what they read, which is honestly why I'm taking the bait and responding to some of these comments. Internet bullies amuse me. Pulse and crap have never really mattered to me. Clearly I'm concerned the future isn't bright. Sometimes it's plain as day, sometimes you just can't put your finger on it. The "Tommy Bowden" song just keeps playing in my head. I've sat through a lot of empty games and lost my voice a 1000 times. And right now, I just don't see Brownell turning the corner long term. But to each his own.
