DJ and Shipley carried the team to victory.

I was SHOCKED at how poorly the DBs played. (I'll wait a while to be more specific. But, I was disappointed in the scheme and the execution.)

Dabo, after the game, said, "We'll get it fixed." I'm glad it is him doing the fixing and not me. He and the defensive coaches have more than just a few plates full to fix it.

…I’m disappointed that the backups were always a step behind the WF receivers, but Hartman was dropping dimes everywhere. Dud had an incredible game, you have to give him credit for making our guys look bad.

Also, if the d line had gotten more pressure and sealed off the mesh run, it would have looked nothing like it did.

The DB’s more downfield help. Alas the only option is leaving them on an island time after time after time. Those are the rules.

You can't fix ugly so we have to find a truck load of makeup because our defense is ugly. We were missing 3 D backs so don't forget that. Flip side we are 4-0 and that is all that matters.

Good observations. The Db's are freshmen so I'll give them a little leeway but the lack of adjustments really stuck out. The switch to zone should have been made at halftime, not the middle of the 4th quarter. Wes has got to do better than today. The positives imo most definitely outweighed the negative though. DJ standing tall and showing without a doubt he's the QB1. Antonio Williams showing he's got the tools to be the man at WR1, Shipley showing he will do everything he can to will the team to victory. The O-line actually performing decently for the most part. And the TE's finally getting the chance to make an impact. All major steps for our Tigers.
