Looks like pregame and halftime.

I figured some of the TNet Historians would appreciate these.

of Clemson and Big Thursday. In one of the photos when you enlarge it, you can see orange helmets lined up against the fence. Back then they piled them up when taking the field to warm up.
Very similar to old baseball teams leaving their gloves on the field between innings.

What idiot put the light poles IN FRONT of the stands ?!?!?!***

They must have used them for supplement lighting late in the afternoon . I don't think they played night games back then . Right ?

are glad the dress code for the games changed?? Would you like wearing you Sunday best..with coat, ties and hats..women in dressy dresses and hats?

I am soooooo glad that changed. I remember going to games with my Dad and wearing ruffled dresses, black patent leather shoes...even little white gloves....and I was as tomboy as they come....hated it.
