hc in baseball anymore, and our football team is gaining talent at a faster pace than the chickens are losing it, which is quite an accomplishment, given how fast talent is leaving usuc, not to mention all the asst. coaches that have said screw the 'ol ball sack, and took their talent elsewhere.

Ok, to start off with, Holbrook is a large part of why tanner became even more successful, look at when CH came and when we started to take it to the next level. I think he will be fine. Not to mention its not like ray isn't right there for advice to be given. On to the talent, you lost a stalwart on the oline, one of the best receivers around who will be higher drafted than anyone from USC this year. So you're also losing talent, and why do you think you are bringing in any more talent, the 247 recruiting rankings for each of us have clemson at 16 and USC at 20. The point difference is a minuscule 737.77 to 734.63.... So obviously the classes are very similar in talent, but wait, the ratings per class are based off of 22 players, for each player you have under that number you just get 0.00 points for, if we signed one more player we would be higher since we only signed 21 and you had 22+.
Now on to the assistant coaches leaving, apparently you missed the memo about Shawn Elliott turning down the oline job at Alabama to stay here, I don't think I need to even address that point further. Basically I just gave facts to completely take away any credibility to anything you just said. I'm not here to cause you to be mad. Just here to talk sports, see below for examples.

If our d can survive losing Ingram, Robertson, Gilmore, Paulk, Antonio Allen and cc Whitlock the year before, along with once again our best receiver in alshon, I think we will be fine. But I think I might understand why we should be... Uh nah i don't see it

No crickets, I just come over here and read y'all's news once I've finished reading ours. I like keeping up to date with all websites, helps me know more about what's going on, I mean no ill will, just stating that if anyone that's a USC fan is worried, what I just said should alleviate that fear. It's just like clemson being paranoid about the oline last year and they turned out just fine.

To be technical we lost more two years ago, having to replace 3 veteran oline, 3 cb's,1 veteran DT, 1 first round de, best receiver, veteran lb, star spur safety... So like I said nah, I like our chances. Not to mention not a single starter remained from our db corp from 2011 to 2012 but I still think we did alright. Btw Bruce is a pretty good receiver. He did score two touchdowns in DV?

That was last year, anything can happen this year, who knows. Y'all's offense was also great and you only scored 17. Double edged sword, and spurriers plan wasn't to score a ton of points, it was to grind the clock away, and that was extremely effective. Like the age old game of keep away.

Our o line lost one starter, tj Johnson at center, he will be replaced by more likely than not Cody Waldrop... Which they say he is just a mean strong country kid mauler so hopefully that will be nice. He's roughly 315 now, the two tackles will be 6'8 335 Corey Robinson and 6'6 330 Brandon Shell. Guards will AJ Cann and Ronald Patrick who are more around the 6'3 315 range. All 4 started last year, line should do nothing but improve from this year to last. Tbh I can give my personal opinion on any group if you ever want, they are usually accurate and very unbiased.

Sounds about like our OL only lose one will be replaced by a real blue collar guy and we will have depth at the position for the first time in a long time. Will matulis kinda fall because of injurys?

There's talk about matulis if he can come back strong playing OT and moving shell to tackle but honestly I think that's unlikely. Robinson if he keeps proving he can get it done is entrenched at LT and is a physical monster. Cody Gibson the other ol that didn't play from injury is getting a look at tight end from a blocking perspective. He's also catching passes in the offseason and is showing good hands considering

Shaw and Shaw, not saying I will agree. But barring injury I think shaw will still get the nod, he probably does give us the best chance to win. The question is how strong will Nosovitch and Mitch push Dylan this spring. Those two have talent.

Oh ####, yeah he looks great IMO. I'm from batesburg so I frequent Columbia but my closest friend is a tiger, go up to clemson and have fun with them all the same... But if someone said who will you pull for when clemson plays Georgia I would still respond an earthquake. Lol

Like for the life of me I cannot figure out why clemson is not recruiting any offensive line, signing 1-2 a year is just idiotic, it will catch up eventually and that's incredibly hard to reverse the effects of.

Look back at 2012 signed 3 really good ones all RS only lost one and signed 2 this year 2013 the 5th best OG in the nation and have one for 2014 on board with looking to sign 1-2 more. Amd we only lose 2 after the 2013 season but injurys and a small class in 2009 really hurt iver the past 2 years.

Yeah but jeeze, I mean this past year it was worrisome who was gonna be starting on the line, we've hit 5 a year pretty much the past few years and are still going after no less than 3 this coming year. It's just so easy to have them not work out, get hurt, and it's nice to be able to use multiple lines per game with little to no fall off.
That's been a strength of USC's Dline lately, they alternate first and second string every few series with little to no drop off. If you can get that way with an oline, watch out world.

Yeah Depth is huge with this past class Clemson finally has it along the lines at the DT postion big time. But OL for us has been tough but its getting help now more than ever.
