my boy Tajh evaluation at the NFL and the tall QB from VT

(not sure it was posted before)
As for the quarterbacks, it was a mixed bag for guys from the ACC. Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd drew mixed reviews again. Clayton said Boyd, "has a strong arm, but his release point is all over the place. Some of his throws came a little sidearm, while the longer throws exposed a loop in his delivery." Logan Thomas had excellent measureables -- tops among the quarterbacks in the 40 (4.61), vertical jump (35.5), broad jump (9 feet, 10 inches), No. 2 in the 20-yard shuttle (4.18) and No. 4 in the three-cone drill (7.05). But when it came time to the throwing drills, he was not as good. Clayton wrote, "Thomas has the body to be a great pro quarterback (6-6, 248 pounds), but he doesn't get his legs into his throws and was inaccurate."

Except for the small detail that he can't throw well?

Tajh has said that's a plus on his side, and I agree

Sort of a Matt Stafford versatility with his throwing motions. As long as he can control it, shouldn't be an issue

Logan Thomas sucks...
Tajh and Logan played against the SAME competition.
One tosses for 30+TDs.
One tosses for 10 TDs and 15+ INTS.
Which one is a QB?
Which one is an "athlete"?

if my aunt had nuts she would be my uncle. The guy sucks at QB and there is four years of college tape to prove it. With measureables like those reported the guy ought to be a tight end but he isn't even a practice squad QB.

remember he's been at VT coached by their staff (Mike O'Cain) so the level of QB coaching has been abysmal. Some NFL team will draft him and let their "QB Guru" work with him to get his mechanics straightened out. He's certainly worth a late round flyer on the chance that he pans out and turns into even a quality backup.

If he gets to cut it loose he is usually better. Swing passes and dump offs are horrible for him. I still think he is a tight end and not a qb
