A lot of the youngsters on the board might not know what DOS is. Congrats on getting the shot.

this will date me... mid 80s doing tech support for a software

Mar 12, 2021, 5:51 PM [ in reply to Re: So I got my covid shot last night - no side effects so far, ]

company, I had a box of diskettes with all the different "flavors" of DOS. Ver 2.0, 2.1, 3.0, 3.1, etc. And not all were Microsoft(MS) DOS, I remember Seattle DOS... there were a couple others that I can't recall at the moment. I had to have one of every type, if they sent me their program & data disks to load and troubleshoot a problem, I had to boot the PC on the version they ran.

Early PCs without a hard drive, program disks in Drive A and data disks in Drive B, you were constantly switching disks in both. And some clients still used a IBM Datamaster 23, which had the big 8" floppy disks, not 5.25. Fun times in the early days of PCs...

Got my first dose of Moderna vaccine at 10:00 this morning. Hope the arm doesn’t get too sore. I’ve got 8 yards of mulch to spread tomorrow!

Someone was telling me, if you exercise it, the soreness will go away faster.

I guess the National Guard medic who administered mine did a great job. I never had any soreness, and that was over two days ago.
