Which game will Tigers win and still have fans or media upset or shocked by the closeness of score??

I’m still a fan that takes any and all wins with appreciation and excitement. The FSU prediction got me thinking

Fans, being fans, will find some reason to complain about something.
If Clemson beats FSU 84-7, some fans will say, "I can't believe we let them score" and others will say, "We shouldn't have called the dogs off. Shoulda hung 100 on them."

I'd expect FSU to administer COVID rapid tests at halftime if the score is headed in that direction.

Pitt's going to start the season 4-0 & will jump into the top-25 rankings. I think they'll stay ranked at least until Clemson travels there.
It's also Clemson's first time at Pitt, so that should give Pitt fans a little extra juice, if nothing else. They're going to have more steam than I think even they're prepared for & certainly they have the most talented QB on our league schedule.
This part may be inconsequential, but it is our only back-to-back road series. While neither team has a bye before us, we do get an extra day of prep for Pitt thanks to the Syracuse game being on a Friday. I don't expect Syracuse to be even a little bit competitive this season, so that kind of win could play to Clemson's favor at Pitt.
Bottom line, Pitt will have enough steam to make a betting line, and it may likely be in the 3-score range. I still think the Tigers will likely blow Pitt out of their own house & beat the spread, but it still may be the "closest" game in terms of 1st-half competition.
Giving a nod to BC just because of Jurkovic at QB. He's a legitimate talent, albeit we host them in DV again (nice). I don't see anyone else even coming close to competitive or potentially being ranked after UGA & Pitt.
BTW, @vermontfan1221 I used to live in Burlington as a toddler. I don't miss it, but the memories are stunning. Go Tigers
