Drops

Not that our receivers have played really well, but I would attribute a lot of the drops to:

1. DJ doesn’t throw with touch
2. DJ NEVER throws a nice spiral.

Much more difficult to locate the football when it looks like 3 footballs coming at you.

Yes it is hard to locate the football when it is hitting you in the hands or chest or face !
Good grief !
I am pulling for these guys more than I ever have.
Yes I get called a sunshine pumper and all sorts of things ( I do not Care)
But really your blaming DJ for throwing accurate passes that the receivers are dropping??
Really ? Now if he over throws under throws then that’s on him but don’t give me that hard to locate the ball!
Last night there were at least 5 drops on perfectly thrown balls in crucial situations!
That’s not on DJ!
There were missed blocks all night by the OL that is not on DJ.
They tried a trick play that set up perfectly except one guy got past 3 blockers on the screen play. Block that one guy and it’s a touchdown . That is not on DJ or Elliot!
Now the throws he makes to the side to. Running back were not good !
The line not being able to move the defense even 1 or 2 yards is not DJ.
The backs and DJ are often hit by the time they get the ball.
But you know what they won !
Yes I know it’s hard for you to believe but Clemson won the Game!!!

WRs are playing as poorly as DJ. There’s no 2 ways around it. They aren’t getting open (could say scheme and wouldn’t be wrong) and they are simply dropping way too many catchable balls! WRs unit is having its worst showing in about a decade.
