If this happens then will the people who say they don't watch any pro sports anymore due to protests also stop watching college football? If that's the case then does that mean they'll have no reason to continue posting on here?

Good. Less political talk and people griping about politics in sports. I hope you're being honest, but I bet you'll stick around to tell everyone how done you are, but never actually leave and then lurk til everyone forgets so you can continue to post

the Tigers for over 60 years. While many things that might happen could disappoint me, the only thing that matters to me is what happens between the kickoff and the final whistle. Dabo and staff will handle the rest.

that helps a lot....
I'm not so concerned about most activism and may not get disappointed in whatever they have planned for gameday, but what would turn me off would be continued support for the BLM movement. I think the original team support for BLM was before it became so obvious what they were all about and it seemed right to support the superficial reasons. But the underlying beliefs are way past rational to me and amount to Marxism and redistribution of wealth.
Maybe they'll demonstrate for police support..... .

I understand that. Unfortunately the BLM message

has been tied completely to the underlying beliefs of the BLM organization. I think we would all feel better listening to the message of the players as opposed to focusing on the Marxist beliefs of the organization.

And I understand your point.... but "feelings" don't recognize or expose the underlying truth and to not recognize it is very short-sighted and a fine example of appeasement.
I don't mind a message about equality, but not if it's tied to spreading the doctrine of BLM.

I think it's like a lot of things unfortunately. You're always going to get people with their own personal agenda's who latch on to things. I try my best to look past that, and think that the majority of people protesting and standing for BLM are good people who simply want to make things better. I'm not saying that I agree with 100% of their points or way of doing things, but I can't get mad at someone trying to make things better, and won't let the people taking advantage of that movement for their own selfish reasons overshadow the good intentions of the majority.
I mean, we even see this sort of thing in charity work. Sadly, there's a lot of people using charities to become rich by misusing the funds they receive. I don't think that means that all charities or all people involved in charities are bad, or that we should ignore all charities due to those people though.

We can all pray that nothing happens but I would not count on it and it will be such a shame. I hope we can all come together for a football game and just enjoy the game but don't count on it.

As for me, if the blm aspect of any organized demonstration or belief is put forth in any football related official gameday function, then my Iptay contribution will be redshirted to my daughter’s Clemson tuition cost and I’ll watch on tv.
Oh, and I’ll still post on tnet. Go ahead and call me a rascist. I’m not, just a non blm fan.
