Re: Another fun Fact, in 2020 Kenosha Wisconsin

Nov 20, 2021, 9:25 AM

Suicides 28
Accidents 146
Natural Death 1443
Opioids 38
Fentanyl 24
Cocaine 17
Alchohol 13

Seems "death by Kyle" is the least likely way to die there.

My bad,

Nov 20, 2021, 9:32 AM

I thought Kenosha was a dangerous place that required people to walk around with loaded firearms for protection.

It was for a few nights last year. I’ve seen

Nov 20, 2021, 9:25 PM [ in reply to My bad, ]

several pics of fires and other property damage done by rioters during nights when the locals I’m sure were fearful for their town.

Try Googling it - perhaps you were unaware of what was going on there…

I would characterize it as dangerous.

Are you saying it wasn't dangerous when people were looting, rioting, and setting buildings on fire in Kenosha?

Ok, but how many were killed by police???

Nov 20, 2021, 9:56 AM [ in reply to Re: Another fun Fact, in 2020 Kenosha Wisconsin ]

Oh, that's right, they don't have any police.

Yeah, um

Nov 22, 2021, 10:37 AM

It's still a homicide even if it's justified. Killing another person = homicide. Not all homicides = murder. So Rittenhouse is still responsible for two homicides.

Not sure why that has to be explained to someone your age.

Kyle Rittenhouse committed 0 homicides

2024 orange level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You don't know what homicide means, do you?

Nov 21, 2021, 12:58 AM

Homicide is when one human being causes the death of another. Not all homicide is murder, as some killings are manslaughter, and some are lawful, such as when justified by an affirmative defense, like insanity or self-defense.

Homicide is the unlawful killing of someone

by the law school at Cornell.

Do you know more than the law school at Cornell?

No, and I never said I did. Did you?

Just admit that homicide is not the word you meant, and that you were wrong.

Re: I just showed you the definition of homicide as written

Nov 21, 2021, 1:24 AM

Either way, there was no unlawful killing by Kyle Rittenhouse. And there are apparently multiple definitions of Homicide

Most words have multiple meanings...like "Neaderthal".......

Nov 21, 2021, 5:37 AM

..for example. Or as a famous linguist once stated; "words don't have intrinsic meanings; they have "uses". But you'll have to remember, the dude you're arguing with, "ineligle user" or whatever his handle is, once compared the notion of "private property" to a 3 Muskateers candy bar (ie the house you live in, or the property you own, is equal to the value of a candy bar)...
