What he says about Mario- that’s all you need to hear. That is what this coach is all about. When you complain about his transfer stance, etc, remind yourself of this.

for his players, their journey to manhood, his role in that. Preaching virtues seemingly vanishing like patience and perseverance.

I don't know of any other coach in any sport who articulates these things as well as Dabo

This makes me even more sure that I support Dabo’s stance on not just following the crowd on the transfer mess.
I love the fact that he is sticking to what he believes in and what he built the program on. Love it. I think it can continue to work, and can make us even more unique amidst all the chaos. We can truly be different, as THE symbol of stability and development.

Screw the numbers game. As he pointed out…we were down 30 scholarships last night, and look how good we were. Toss in a more dynamic quarterback, and maybe one more receiver out there…and we’re probably as good as ever.

Dabo is a leader and anyone that does not appreciate what he is doing is not a fan. The biggest problem many fans have is they have Assume Disease because they never played a sport and had a coach define that. Every team has good players, some just have better players than others. There are 11 players on the field at a time and despite the fact that Assume sufferers think it will happen, we will not win all 11 matchups every play, every game. One player does not win a game and 1 player does not lose a team and on occasion you get beat. Thank goodness, we have Dabo and his coaches to lead our guys, both the players and we are fortunate.
