Officiating did not cost them the game...

Clemson's poor performance in the red zone opened the door for NCSU to make a FG and steal the game. Fortunately they did not walk through the open door. P.S. While hated in Raleigh, we love Bambard in Clemson.

Agree. Dabo should get that kicker a ticket to our national championship game in Tampa this January .

Speaking of "no-calls" by the officials
Oct 17, 2016, 7:13 AM

After glossing over the hit on Gallman, the author points out two no-calls as if they were the only ones in the game. He conveniently misses the fact that the NCS center was in motion on every snap of the game, bobbing up and down and not being "set" for one count prior to the snap-- not called the entire game. He conveniently misses the fact that #70 for NCS "rocked back" from his 3-point stance on every pass play prior to the snap. He conveniently misses the large number of holding penalties against the NCS line, which was never called (I think there was one holding call against NCS).
As always, the media cherry-picks the facts to shape the narrative to support their agenda. Perhaps what the author should be discussing are the large number of "tweets" of death-threats toward the NCS kicker by "loyal Wolfpack supporters."

Have the wolfies EVER lost a game that wasn't the zebras fault? I can't remember one.
THIS LOSS SHOULD BE PUT ON THE IGNORANT COACHING STAFF They easily ran the ball down the field on the last drive using their top notch tailback and with a first down inside the ten yard line and more than a minute left with TWO timeouts they tried to pass on a short field, lost yardage and ran the clock down to allow a kicker who had already missed two field goals to win the game for them. Yea! Them cheating officials helped Clemson.
I get over it State. You suck!

This...
Their RG was rocking back on 75% of their snaps for at least the first half, none of them called.

last drive with a minute to go. They likely would have been attempting the FG with a minute to go from further back had that been called. If they had made that(couldn't make a shorter one), DW4 has a minute to get us at least 3 back-- we've all seen what we can do when we run the "2 minute offense". The phantom holding call on Jordan Leggett was probably the most egregious call and ruined a scoring drive. Wayne Gallman hit-- probably another score. We punted 2 times in the freaking game(1 was late JL penalty drive). Our O was moving the ball up and down the field just didn't hold on to it. NCSU was very fortunate to be in this game and have a chance to win.

officiating is "not consistent" .It has not been "consistent" for the last 60 years in the ACC. unc-ch has not been "consistent" about their athletes taking real courses over the last 25 years , so that needs to be mentioned too. Be "consistent".
