So, Cuse's RB has better stats yardage wise vs SHiP's, but

Oct 19, 2022, 8:11 PM

bet he doesn't do runbacks 70 yds or catch passes as well out of the back field.

We'll see soon~

Oct 19, 2022, 8:13 PM

From Syracuse media pre-season

Oct 19, 2022, 8:16 PM

The crown jewel of Syracuse football, All American running back Sean Tucker. The third-year sophomore returns to the 315 coming off a historic 2021. Last season, Tucker broke the SU single season rushing record with 1,496 yards and was named an AP second-team All-American to boot. Tucker was named both a Phil Steele and Walter Camp Preseason All-American heading into 2022. The Maryland native thrived in the open field on outside zone runs as well as screen passes and we can expect much of the same this season. Also, we could expect new Offensive Coordinator Robert Anae to get Tucker more involved in the passing game as Tucker has untapped potential coming out of the backfield with only 20 receptions in 2021.

Why can’t they both be good RBs

Oct 19, 2022, 8:39 PM

and just leave it at that. This website has some interesting peoples. ?‍?

And if anyone disagrees, they are anti-Clemson and maybe a coot.

HTH.

Again…lots of behind the bell folks on here.

I remember hearing the same BS before Clemson played WVU in the Orange Bowl.

You two should get a room and allow good folks to enjoy the sport they love.

We are all Clemson fans.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Clemson is 111-14 since that WVU loss ... it means nothing

in 2022.

We want all of our Tigers to be the best that they can be. Isn't that the point of competing in sports?

Why can't people talk up their players on a sports bored? Interesting indeed coot.

Sean Tucker is a stud he’ll be one of the first RBs taken

Oct 19, 2022, 8:46 PM

In the draft. Doesn’t take anything away from Shipley; it’ll be a great matchup.

2024 white level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That can’t be right.

Oct 19, 2022, 10:48 PM

He plays in the ACC.

There's something in these hills.

My guess is that even with splitting carries with Mafah

Oct 19, 2022, 9:03 PM

Ship has more rushing yards than Tucker on Saturday.

Oct 19, 2022, 9:05 PM

Almost 50 year IPTAY member here who is 100% born and bred Tiger so don't give me of the Coot @#$# and I love Ship but I we had a kick returner who would not always get run down from behind. I have no idea how fast Tucker is but I don't remember Ford, Spiller or Watkins getting caught from behind on kickoffs.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

More incoherent coot drivel.

Oct 19, 2022, 11:52 PM

You’re fooling no one, Valley Coot.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He had to break 3-4 tackles on that return. You think that

Oct 20, 2022, 7:46 AM [ in reply to Re: So, Cuse's RB has better stats yardage wise vs SHiP's, but ]

Might have slowed him down a bit?

Frankly, running back KOs is a waste of time and effort. For every big run back, there are 10 that get stopped short of the 25 and even more that get penalized for an illegal block.

Most KOs today are touchbacks.

Did I see Syracuse SOS was not very good? I’ll take Ship and the Tigers to cover the spread….

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

Re: So, Cuse's RB has better stats yardage wise vs SHiP's, but

Ship does it all, plus has a knack for finding slight openings in crucial short yardage situations.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'd go so far as to say Shipley is the Heart of the Tigers!

Oct 20, 2022, 3:29 AM

He is raw fury and passion. He is the perfect compliment for DJ.
