Coot spring game

Highlight of the game.....TD pass to Hootie.

Watching the game, they look SLOW. Not only are we gonna crunch them again. They will be lucky to win 4 games, as Ive projected earlier. Great to be a Tiger these days.

poor team speed, especially on defense and to further exacerbate the problem, they took poor angles to the ball.

although according to Clueless09, $CU "almost" won ten games last year even though they were not a very good team.

Of course, what he conveniently fails to acknowledge is that, in reality, $CU was closer to losing ten games last year than they were to winning ten games.

Depending on how a few of their toss-up games turn out for them this season, I can see them finishing anywhere from 5 - 7 to 7 - 5

...again the other day and noticed coots dragging tail on defense. On Scott's first fly sweep TD, he had made his cut and was through line in a blink untouched and defenders were left noticeably stiff leggedly chugging after him.

You can coach up strength, speed not so much. They've got chuggers on defense and after a poor recruiting season not likely to improve substantially this year.

I think they'll porobably be a little better on defense....

but certainly not significantly better. Any improvement will likely be offset by an offense that will not be nearly as effective in 2015.

The simple fact of the matter is, they have not recruited very well and been unable to replace the players they've lost with equal of better talent and it shows.
