It amazes me how we are in the 21st century

and some businesses/agencies are still working in 1986.
Needed to switch over my water service. Can't. Have to come in between 8-5. Tell them I can't because I work most days 8-8.
Well then your wife needs to come in.
She works 8-6 most days.
"Well then you need to make arrangements"
my response after that statement "I don't know if you know this, but a lot of people work during the day"
She didn't take that too well. We had a frosty interaction when I left work to go handle that.
We have a multi million dollar city hall from overcharging us on water, but you can't put a form and fee online.

Of the time my bank put a hold on my debit card and alerted me to potential fraud because of Amazon purchases I was making... in mid December.
I said, "Pardon me for sounding like a smart ###, but you do know it's Christmas time and people are buying gifts online, right?"

it gets flagged as fraud and declined. Used to happen in Charlotte and I am 45 minutes away from CLT. They fixed that. In New Orleans a couple weeks ago, card declined. It also only happens on the weekends.
When we travel this summer, I am going to CC everything and just pay it off when I get home or in 5-6 years, depending on how I feel.

a large High School in WNC and she doesn’t even work that much and she attends most ballgames for a while. And she is making good cheddar too.
FBCoach you are doing something wrong with those hours and that pay.
