In general I’m against stimulus checks but since the government arbitrary decides who can stay open and who is shutdown, this is not a bad idea. No money for the arts and other nonsense. Just money for families and small businesses that have been financially hurt.

One example. We are not getting a check which I’m ok with. A friend of a friend won the lottery a few years ago and does not need to work. He does work part time because it keeps him busy, he likes what we does, etc. he is getting a check because his income is so low.
