Who should our top targets be to replace CML? I haven't seen a list of candidates anywhere.

Unfortunately we ain’t firing him. It will be another year of this or worse. Iffff we do hire someone it should be someone that has played here and has energy. Or go spend money. Money talks!

Unfortunately best isn’t the standard across all sports. It’s not a revenue sport so here we are.

This is just me spit balling some names, and likely not would require quite an investment monetarily. In order of my wish list:
1. Link Jarrett- ties to the ACC, good recruiter/ unfortunately he's an offensive minded coach similar to Monte
2. Erik Bakich- Former Clemson assistant under Jack, runner up in Omaha with Michigan
3. Randy Mazey- Clemson grad, has done a decent job with WVU which is not a baseball rich school or state
I'm sure I'm missing some names but those are 3 that come to mind, I'd love to get Link Jarrett, guy is a winner and has a proven track record of developing talent.

Thanks for these rocktowntiger. Jarrett or Bakich would be absolute home runs. Both proven winners, which we desparately need. What Jarrett has done at ND recently is so impressive. He is a brilliant baseball mind.

Bakich was vocally unhappy about Leggett’s firing and publicly spurned any interest in the job. He’s the best candidate that we have a spit-ball’s chance of getting so hopefully Neff can build some bridges that his predecessor burnt down.

John Pawlowski- former pitcher at Clemson and was at CofC before Lee- he went to Auburn and now he’s at WKy.
Also, Rodney Hennon, who was a player & asst. coach at W. Carolina with Leggett. (Some may love or hate this). He has been at Georgia Southern for about 20 years.

I've checked out Pawloski's recent WKU teams and it doesn't seem to be going all that well. Not sure how you could rally the masses about a hire with a losing record as of late. I do like the idea of a Tiger legacy at the helm. Thanks for the response.
