cut off.
He was so happy on the ride over there, I feel kinda bad. Oh well, sucks for him. It did spark recent conversations in the house about that in which I had to assure my daughter that he could still go pee out of his wee wee and reassure my boys that we would not be cutting their balls off.
When do I explain to the kids that pee is stored in the balls though?

is not holding the threat of testicular removal over your male children as a potential consequence of unsavory behavior. You no longer have that power, and these children will run roughshod over you for the next 20 years.
Way to go, Champ.

Wife is friends with a woman who's daughter is your daughers age (give or take a year). SarahAdidas noticed that the daughter has her own tic-toc account and found a video or her dancing and lip-synching to this song...

She mentioned it to the mom.... mom and dad lost their shizz. Girl is probably being sent away to live in a convent.
The longer they think pee comes from the balls, the better.

a tic toc account? Not a chance, bro. I would reign down immortal hellfire on my kids for stunts like that.
I told daughter she can have a phone when she NEEDS a phone but it has to be legitimate reasons.

So here's how we do it at my house....

A few back-stories... my F.I.L. has an unlimited supply of nearly brand new iPhones because of his line of work... so cost is no issue.
My son (oldest child) got an iPhone with an actual plan around age 8-9. He's very responsible. He has a girlfriend (that he swears isn't his girlfriend) that texts him every day or two (like 1 text per day) and a friend he met though X-Box that my wife vetted out and talked with the boy's parents and made sure he wasn't a CS02. They talk a good bit. The boy is a few years older and black, which gives son some exposure to other cultures that he normally wouldn't experience in Lexington. He also texts some with that boy's cousins and some of their gaming buddies. No social media for him... he just uses it to talk and text. He thinks social media is for losers.
Daughter has an iPhone with no plan. Wifi only. She plays dumbazz games and watches stupid stuff on youtube. She has Tic-Tok, but it's all set to private and apparently anything she wants to post gets run past my wife first, and my wife has never allowed her to post anything where she's actually visible in it. Just weird videos of stuffed animals and things like that. It allows daughter to be creative and think she's making movies, etc. while remaining mostly safe.
I feel like it's a pretty decent plan, but I think it's a case-by-case situation based on parents tolerance, kids responsibility and other issues like kids being home-alone from time to time, etc. and needing to contact parents.

I'm still working on the ethics of this, but I'm pretty sure when my daughter turns 12 I'm taking her to get the implantable birth control.
