Modern Clemson campus is almost unrecognizable for me.

SO many changes since I graduated in 1976. Shoot, so many changes since I last had season tickets in 2009. But, what really makes Clemson University, the core of it, is the people. And, I am happy to say, for the most part, the "core values" of the people that made Clemson special back when I was there are still intact. Hopefully WE as Alumni continue to spread those values to a world that sorely needs them in these troubling times.

Buildings will come and go. That is the temporary nature of things built by man, except in rare or special circumstances. Hopefully, "Old Main" as it is now once again called, will always remain. At least the Clock Tower portion. That, to me IS Clemson University's defining landmark. Just think of all the amazing changes that building has seen around it, just in THAT portion of the campus!

it's like going from the sticks to a metropolis, when visiting Clemson. I can only imagine what it will look like 50 years from now...imagine, I said, because at 75, I might not be around then. Might not, I said. lol
