ryley is not a closer. did you not read all the baseball gurus on tardnet constantly?? according to some of them, he had no business pitching in college. i know they eased my mind. deer lord the mets are dumb.

Had he been drafted by a contender he could have started in AA and moved up to help in postseason. Dudes on here think they know baseball, however most do not. The passion on this board is good for Clemson...some programs are far behind fan support, facilities and post season performance. Ryley will be fine. Spiers should be the guy next year, that kid has Ice in his veins.

No one will replace Beer, Williams or Miller. Next year will be a tough year for the Tigers and i assume the schedule will be tougher also.
