We noticed at practice last week that RB Mikey Dukes wasn't with the running backs. I've been told he isn't in the transfer portal, isn't injured, and doesn't have COVID-19. I've also been told Coach Swinney will provide further insight this evening.

would not ever say anything bad about a tiger player but all this interest in a guy that will never see the field is kind of befuddling to me.

He was a great HS Back at First Baptist but no disrespect they are a small private school too. The kids is a winner but has never been higher than #3 on the chart. I wonder if it is not working out and might be thinking about the next steps.

He showed some flashes of having that make you miss in him that's hard to teach. I hope he doesn't give up football just yet.
Sometimes he juked when he should have just ran straight; but his short area quickness was among the best in the RB room I thought last year!
I hope he isn't leaving football or the Tigers personally! But, with the depth at RB I could understand him wanting to look elsewhere!

He’s seen the field and has much potential…just have a ton of depth…He doesn’t concern as much as it did to lose Bowman to UF because he was behind on the depth chart behind an activist who had like 6 carries all
Season.

I thought he could be a utility player. Part-time RB and as a secondary position maybe play in the slot.
But this is Clemson and he couldn't work his way up the depth chart.

The only context is that Swinney was asked when Dukes would return to practice and that’s what he said. It was a shorter news conference last night and he didn’t get a follow-up question on it.
