He was AWOL during this battle while his buddies were taking fire. No way I’d take him back. Loyalty & pride are more important than pampering babies.

hell no

Sep 29, 2018, 3:48 PM

But if for some reason Dabo let's him come back, he should be 3rd string.

Bryant can’t come back...

Sep 29, 2018, 3:51 PM

He burned that bridge to the ground on his way out!! Not knocking his decision, just the way he did it.

No way! He quit on the team. The way things played out this afternoon… Made him look even more selfish. Today was a total team victory

Except for Rodgers. He didn’t help much

That’s not how it works. Dabo was saying the door is open and it may be for the coaches but not the players. You don’t leave your team in the trenches. Football is a team sport. Dabos decision was based on the best interest of the team. KB’s decision was based on the best interest of KB. This is college football where your team is still important not the ever isolating NFL. I feel for the guy I really do but decisions have consequences on both sides.

Hang on. You think KB should be the starter and you aren’t sure if Lawrence should even be the back up??

Who gave you your moniker, Oh Wise One?

When you pop out with wise nuggets like that, you make your children with the same surname cringe with embarrassment.

Re: They should ask Bryant to come back

Sep 29, 2018, 4:06 PM

No. Plain and simple no. kb quit on this team. If he would have been on the sidelines today ESPN, other news outlets, and even people on here would be bragging how lucky we are to have such an unselfish team that loves and plays for each other. Instead he was somewhere else. Like others have said I don’t hold his decision against him but the parting shots out the door weren’t a good look for him. But at the end of the day though it isn’t up to us fans. It’s up to the coaches and team mates. I know what my answer would be though if I was on the team.

I think it should be up to the team. If and that's a huge IF KB was wanting to comeback he should have to address the team and apologize for his actions. Then the team should vote whether they want him back. If they want him back then I'm okay with it.

Re: They should ask Bryant to come back

Sep 29, 2018, 4:09 PM

Yeah he needs to keep his a$$ away. The team will only get better from here after grinding it out today. They grew up a lot today

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't see how the coaches screwed up

Sep 29, 2018, 4:10 PM

While it would be good to have him back to give us more depth at QB, I do wonder if it might set a bad example for other players that it's okay to quit midseason and then come back. It would be different if it was a situation like Guillermo or DJ Reader where the player tells the coaches he needs to leave the temp temporarily for personal reasons, but to just not come back to practice after losing the starting job is different.

For the record, I don't blame KB for wanting to retain his final year of eligibility to possibly be the starting QB somewhere, but I don't like the way it happened.
