Merry Christmas -Not happy holidays

Dec 25, 2016, 7:11 AM

What a wonderful time to be a Tiger fan. I really enjoy the TigerNet.com site and writers for their time keeping us updated on things around Clemson. Only one thing I would change, wish they could express Merry Christmas instead of happy holidays.

They know some folks on here are Jewish

Happy Hanukkah ya Paskudnyak

And others on here aren't so sensitive and insecure.

Seasons Greetings, Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanakuh, Kwanza... whatever. Your new year's resolution should be to stop trying to find a problem with everything and just enjoy your good health, good fortune, and dedicate some time to help others instead of posting your drivel.

Amen...Jesus entered the human race as a Jew but they missed who He was and is! He came as a lamb
so HE could save mankind from our sins.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everybody. Just remember that the Almighty instructed us to care for one another. He's not all that picky about how you address this time of year.

Well Happy Holidays generally includes Thanksgiving thru New Year

So I see nothing wrong with using it seeing that until the "War on Christmas" started it was accepted as a proper greeting.

Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas, and I don't care what you say

(Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanza, Blessed Solstice)as long as you say it in a friendly tone, I will reply with a friendly tone.

It's sad that we live in a country where simply being thoughtful and polite offends people.
