so being at the game i was very angry at robinson being out of position and just overall really questioning if he is the right guy to play that #2 CB. As much as i think we need brewer at safty, I believe he would be a better option. but im open to agrument and opinions.

scary. Here is hoping that it was just some missed assignments that can be taught and not an overall talent thing.

I agree Blanks will be the starter at saftey next year dont see why we play him at LB, if they want him to play up we have a saftey blitz in the playbook im sure. So id like to have him at the FS spot and Hall at SS move Brewer to CB.

I couldnt agree more!! Robinson got beat like a drum!! He looked like he was waiting on safety help but he was on a island!! Im sure venables is considering the same option. Make d-rob earn that spot back because he surely lost that spot. But it was the first game!!

except venables said he was supposed to have safty help over the top....... and if you saw the coverage it was very clear he should have

not sure who the saftey was on that play but again goes back to better options at saftey as well. Meeks inst the best at coverage, but he sure can hit to his credit.

I really wonder which safety was resposible on the long touchdown. I hate to accuse anyone, but Brewer has a history of letting receivers get behind him. Venables need to consider Hall and Meeks as the safeties.

I must have missed venables saying that, but when he got beat on the td he didnt even attempt to make any play and the way they lined up he should have known he was 1 one 1!! And its funny it was always him having problems!! Hmmm!

I have a better idea!! Why don't we wait to see what the coaches have to say later in the week and see what changes they make. Then we can tell them that is not good enough seeing that we gave up 1 TD and that was unacceptable

Your missing the point, yes we only gave up 1 touchdown. But if they had a qb that could half way throw, then there would have been at least 3 td's. Also, other teams watch game film and will go after the weak link, but i did say its just the first game. Its hard to know what you got until you play 1 or 2 games(like last year). Unfortunately we had to learn against a good sec d, instead of a div-2 school.

I have one....

The one where the receiver was wide-open in the endzone and came down O/B simply b/c he didn't know where he was. A decent WR scores on that play.

Hall and Meeks at safety, Breeland at other corner. Those are the best dbs Hall should never be on bench if healthy.

I can remember that Cortez Davis received raved reviews as a corner and safety when he was in high school. I really wonder if he should be given a shot at Robinson's positon. He cannot do any worse. I also respect the coaches decisions in matters like this.

Te

The te was open all night too. He missed one because of a bad throw on the 10 yard line on 3rd down and also the one where the wr didnt know he was in the back of the endzone. If you act like the pass coverage didnt have huge problems (more 1st half than second half) your in denial!!
