I know Travis was supposed to leave after this year, but with the departures we have seen today, is there any chance he does stay and we move him back to safety? I always felt him leaving was still up in the air, and I wasn't sure if he signed with an agent yet.

Blanks is leaving for non football reasons. Going to test the NFL but is confident in himself without it.

His true freshman year, he was good at safety, with the exception of blown coverage a few times. I'd love to see him in at safety again, for his senior year

He is too slow to play safety and he played the nickel his freshman year and was struggling in his sophomore year before he got hurt and Kearse stepped in.

I'm not sure that he still has the range to play safety in our style of defense. I wish he would have had a smoother recovery from those knee injuries. I have to think that part is playing a huge part with him too. He knows that he isn't what he once was.

He still looks hurt IMO From what I saw live at the game he played great gotta go back and watch it on tv though

Jefferie Gibson is a RS freshman that is 6'4" 205lbs. He is going to hit the gym hard in the off-season and fill in Kearse's shoes quickly. He just about murdered that kid in the Miami game. And Van Smith is also going to step up, he's gotten plenty of snaps this year. We will be fine! Mack still might stay! All the players that left today, I expected to, other than Dodd.

After that Miami game, I thought we would see more of him this season. Hopefully what we saw from him in that game wasn't just a flash in the pan, and he has consistency
