There are some good candidates for next year to look for. Niko Medved at Colorado State is going to be even better next year. Also, like Grant McCasland at North Texas who an assistant to Baylor under Scott Drew, Drew Valentine at Loyola, and others.

A problem will be other ACC schools are going to most likely look at coaches like Pitt, NC State, and Ga Tech.

One of these major power schools is going to be really smart and hire Matt Langel at Colgate. Turned a terrible program into a good program. Won the Patriot league the last 4 years and competes against good power 5 programs. Recruiting might be an issue but if hired the right assistants he would excel bigtime. Played for Fran Dunphy at Penn and was an assistant under him at Temple.

Two teams I forgot to mention is Missouri hired Dennis Gates at Clevland State who was a looked at by a lot of these other jobs, and Jerome Tang appers to be the top candidate at Kansas State. Tang is the top assistant at Baylor now.

We have a basketball coach. Give it a rest. All TigerNet could talk about all season was the weak ACC. Well, the weak ACC has three of the final 16 in the NCAA and two of the final eight in the NIT. The Heels beat the defending national champs. Duke ousted Izzo. Miami drilled SEC regular-season champ Auburn. Just remember, the ACC is never weak.
