Since Clemson was out of the picture I was kind of hoping he would end up at UGA to maybe help our chances with White. Teague seems like a good kid I hope he does well

I'll never understand our running back recruiting this season. Teague is good enough to go to Ohio State but not Clemson. Pierce is good enough to go to Alabama but not Clemson. If Zamir White goes to Georgia, who is left to recruit?

I agree with your train of thought to a certain extent. But

We aren't going to know everything the coaches know and they. Ertainly aren't going to smear a kid. But I trust them to know what they are doing. They've proved that they can be trusted, especially with recruiting. Would love to have white and I get that is unlikely but I trust our coaches know what they are doing.

If we don't get White this year, we take 2 rbs next year. In all probability, both of them will be better prospects than Teague. That's how good our recruiting is now.

Haha! Based on what? Better simply because they will be in orange or actually better? Amazing how our fanebase (mainly the Tnet breed) is all about how elite our recruiting prospects are..........unless the sign with another team, then they instantly become everyone's second choice.

I have seen that a lot of times on boards, when someone commits elsewhere they didn't have a commutable offer from clemson and so on but Teague really didn't be have an offer from us but he was good enough to be a tiger we just didn't go after him. coaches apparently have a plan and I trust their plan. We still got a chance at white idk how high but the chance is there, we also have a offer out to Devon Lawerence from NC big Dex brother. Also would love to see the coaches try to capatilze on stoops retirement and go back after TJ Pledger we were high on his list b4 he committed to OU, this guy is a stud too and getting great coaching at IMG. How ever it plays out I trust Dabo and staff to pick the right guy for Clemson!! Go Tigers!!

My money is on Dabo having a winning plan no matter

He took us to two National Championships back to back and won one of them, plus he has been dead on in recruiting the guys we have. Dabo always has a plan an a backup plan!
Our coaches have done a great job recruiting we just need to trust them. We have the number 1 and number 2 recruit committed, we aren't killing it in one area and not in the other. If I was a betting person I'd bet we all will be happy how our RB situation works out.

Why does Teague go to a school that already has the #1 APB and another 4* RB?

Most likely the same reason a guy like Hunter Johnson or Trevor Lawrence comes to an already loaded Clemson. With a media bias toward Ohio State and a cake walk conference, there's always a chance to wind up in the CFP and shine. There are only a few hand full of programs out there who can say the rich keep on getting richer and we are one of them, just like Ohio State.
