Many basketball coaches who have been successful at their...

Mar 17, 2022, 10:20 AM

schools have the arena or court named for them. Some examples of this are "Coach K Court" and the "Dean Smith Center". I know that CBB has not reached the levels of success those two have, but he is the all time winningest basketball coach in Clemson history. With that said, is anyone aware of an initiative to have the court, coliseum, etc... named for him? It's not unprecedented, and might be just the gesture needed to start healing some of the wounds around our program.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

Surely you must be joking.

I'm not joking and don't call me Shirley

I like it. Provocative. How about "Dwindling Fan Base Arena"?

The Brad Brownell Leisure Spas"

Locations scattered around Littlejohn "where fans can "go" and "rest" when #### happens on or off of the court".

Is this similar to the new proposed

"Deshaun Watson Massage Rooms" at Memorial Stadium?

Haven't heard what they'll be charging or if only available to people in the club seats.

I would imagine so.

I believe the main difference is that Brownell's Leisure Spa will only allow one occupant per stall, while I believe there is a 2 person minimum per stall in Deshaun's Parlor.

Both areas can be used for stress relief.

I haven't heard yet if Clemson will provide the "instagram masseuses" or if fans will have to bring their own and buy them a ticket?

Not sure whether a building or statue is more appropriate, but a nice fundraising slogan might be

"If you see Brown in the 'John, it's a Brown "L". We'll be flush with cash donations in no time.

I agree, the name

Little John does not strike fear into opposing players and coaches hearts. I say we break tradition here and name it after someone else famous, like Robert E Lee Coliseum, it even has a ring to it. I think you would witness a newly found energy surrounding this program of likes we have never scene.
