They are neat to visit and see the buildings... but longer than a week and I would be walking out of it if I had no other means of transportation.
I probably get bored with big cities in about 3 days.

I've been twice and still haven't done a few touristy things like a broadway show, taken a ferry, or been to the Statue of Liberty. So I'll go back in 2-3 and try to do that, but just walking around, smelling the food, seeing the sights, and hearing the city sounds, I love it. We hiked 20 miles in two days, according to my steps tracker on the phone. Plenty of exercise and the weather was perfect. It never got above 77 with low humidity.
