attendance at game. But, not out of line with rinky dinky ACC programs. If we ever get a chance to get out of this conference...sigh.

The bees used it as a way to sell three game packages to Clemson fans. The stadium will be mostly orange anyway. Looking forward to the game.

They don't have enough fans to fill up MBS and they sure....

don't want us to have way more fans than they bring. Another sad reflection of the state of Tech football.

paying direct to MBS and cutting GT out of any of the extra money? then sell those tickets to Clemson fans, making more money.

Because Clemson fans (as solid as they are) would not

buy those tickets for this particular game.
Don’t take this as any sort of condemnation of our fan base. Historically, no group is more loyal, but ...
It’s Monday night ... late ... in Atlanta ... against Ga Tech.
Folks want to paint this as some sort of season-opening nationally attractive marquee opening game. In actuality, it’s just a regular away game against Ga Tech at an unappealing time on an unattractive date.
There will be plenty of tickets available to Clemson fans. It remains to be seen if they buy them in large numbers.
Go Tigers! Beat The Jackets!!

Agreed. It's as lame as FSU cancelling the game two years ago in Tally morning of kickoff. Don't drink the water at ACC stadiums. You may turn softer than a wet noodle.

South Carolina and Vandy need fans so I am sure they would welcome you if you think all it takes is bigger opponent's stadiums to make football better.

I am Clemson through and through. I'm sure you could go over to USuC or Vandy but not me. BTW Clemson has NOT been in the ACC forever and if I had to bet won't be in the ACC in the near future. Give me passionate fans filling up an 80,000+ stadium any day to once a year fans like some of these ACC program fans. Give me a tough schedule over some of the schedules ACC teams created to give them cupcake wins and a sense of false pride. Thank God I'm a Clemson fan. We fill our stadium, we work to schedule tough opponents, and we are passionate as any in the nation about our football. Go Tigers!!!!

A.T., old friend....I know you know what my attitude about

the ACC has been going back to my time at CU in the 60's.
This latest boatload of unmitigated horsesh*t about our game vs GT is a classic example of why I have maintained an anti-ACC bias all these years.
The conference has the Number 4 team in the nation playing another conference member on primetime TV on a holiday with the entire upper decks blocked out. FOR GOD'S SAKE, what in the thunderous helllll were those people thinking to ever sit still for that kind of request from GT? The Clemson folks should have already read the frigging Riot Act to the stadium people, the conference and to GT.

I am glad everyone finally seeing the light. This has been painfully obvious for many years, but only "coots" would call it out.
