His explosiveness and ability to break tackles reminds me somewhat like ETN.

He also has several negative plays. Most look to be the line's fault, but maybe the coaches are pinning it on him being indecisive. Regardless, he has earned himself more playing time.

He's a north-south runner and no one has told Elliott that's allowed in football yet.

Here are all his runs yesterday, take away the 63 yarder and it's 3.5 yds per cary.
Phil Mafah run for 3 yds Phil Mafah run for 1 yd Phil Mafah run for 63 yds Phil Mafah run for 1 yd Phil Mafah run for 6 yds Phil Mafah run for 3 yds Phil Mafah run for 7 yds Phil Mafah run for 6 yds Phil Mafah run for 1 yd
I think he and Shipley are complimentary runners, we definitely missed Pace's power running.

Didn't keep tabs on him personally, but game stats had him gaining 69 yards total, with 9 carries. Take away his 63 yard run, that leaves 6 yards gained for his remaining 8 carries (or .75 yards per carry). Definitely has shown promise since being activated a few games ago, but believe Shipley has been more dependable (per carry) and has shown more leadership skills on & off the field. Both are showing great potential for rest of the year, & for future years!

Well he had that one touch for over 60 yards. On his next 8 and final touches he averaged under 1 yard. It wasn't working. He will e great when we have a good OL though...which will happen within 2 years.
