Mackey Blog: Spring game, because of request

On Saturday, The Clemson men's varsity football team played the Clemson men's varsity football team in Memorial Stadium. The men's varsity football team won the game. Head coach Dabo Swinney asked for 50,000+ fans to show up, and he may or may not have gotten his wish.
It was kind of windy, and the kicks and punts weren't that good. It was either because of the wind, or because of special teams mistakes. I'm not really sure which one.
At the end of the day, there won't be a ticker take parade, but no one got seriously injured, and Clemson won. And that's about all I have to say about that.

Coach Brad Brownell may be hired to coach Memphis. Many of you may be wondering why an NBA team would hire a college coach who has had no success. Well, there is actually a university in Memphis, called University of Memphis. It's hard to say whether they will hire Brad. If they want an "x's and o's" guy who struggles in late game situations and cannot recruit any high school players, they will want to snag Brad right away. That being said, if they want to win and get a ticker take parade, they may want to go with a coach with a proven track record.

If Clemson beat Clemson and Clemson won, didn't Clemson beat itself to earn the win? I thought Dabo fixed us beating ourselves in games or should we blame Joey Batson for the self-inflicted loss?
