Mack Brown and NIL

I read yesterday that Coach Mack Brown told a recruit to accept an NIL offer from another school. I though that NIL could not be used to entice a player to sign with a school. If this story is true, Mack Brown has first hand knowledge of a recruiting violation done by another school. Why has this story not gained any traction with the media?

offered and asking them if they can beat their offer. Mack probably told him no, they couldn't get that high and for him to take the other offer.

Jimbo already went though this. He was adamite that The school and admin had NOTHING to do with NIL and he was correct.
No1 can stop the boosters from starting their own funds now. It isn't illegal to give these kids money.
They claim that isn't the purpose of NIL when they pushed it through but you can't stop it or control . It is either all rules or no rules.

take the NIl deal it wouldn't prove that is why the kid chose the school or that the coach/faculty at the other school offered the NIL. X University may have a better NIL program than UNC so Mack could just be saying go to that school because the NIL potential is better.
The kid would have to be be specific and say something like, "Coach Y offered my X amount of NIL if i signed a LOI to his school. " That would be grounds to start the investigation but Then they would have to prove coach Y actually said that. The kid would have had to wear a wire then as well.
Clemson has a NIL program and has facilities dedicated to NIL . So if a recruit wants to find out how NIL works at Clemson or how much money is involved or how much they could possible make .. they can simply walk over to that office and find out.
U cant police this stuff any more.
All the NCAA can do now is enforce the recruiting windows/contact requirements and academic edibility. Some group is suing the NCAA right now to get rid of the academic requirements because they are racist so those will soon go away.

Academic eligibility? Is that even a thing now ?? When is the last time you heard of a player not qualifying , having to go to Juco or not making the SAT score to be admitted ? Don’t even think they enforce that now

student athletes. Then they made new rules where some factors can override other factors..
Now they want to completely get rid of some of those factors.
NIL is just the latest way they have been trying to completely segregate athletes from students.
