They think they have found our kryptonite based on the Lousiville game. They are unimpressed with our tombstone graveyard and discussing the fact that a loss to us would not be the end of the world. Slow Tuesday but that's the update.

What did they think the kryponite was? I think the most valid argument is that through the adversity, our team responded well and found a way to win.

Please, pretty please, try that man defense that managed to beat Wake Forest by 1 point and gave up nearly 40 percent on third down defense.

My thought exactly they don't have the talent to do what LV but I guess you can watch film and convince yourself of anything.

Hmmm. If only there was a statistic that ranked team defense and normalized for competition.
Oh wait--there is. FootballOutsiders ranks OU's defense as 12th and Louisville's as 22nd.
Oh well, that doesn't fit the Clemson fan's model. Ignore that and move along.

oh, guess I shouldn't mention Clemson put up 532 yards of offense against that team...420 in passing, 112 in rushing. Let's just move along now...

glad they chose a game 3 months ago immediately prior to us beating #6 ND, throttling GT, destroying the nations #1 defense for 500+ yds, and getting Miami's coach fired 4 straight weeks

So last years butt ripping didn't do it? Their arrogance will be their down fall. Louisville was also a short week for us. Geuss they're like bama fans. They forgot about the loss. The Texas loss don't impress us. And neither do the Sooners. There just another stepping stone. Ou don't scare Clemson.

clicking yet. DW4 didn't really get it going until the 5th game of the season, but we've put up 500+ yards in every game since ND, including 600+ in 2 or 3.

They are adamant that they somehow miraculously became a completely different team after the Tejas beatdown. If you talk to them about their loss, they'll shout back that they are no longer that team. Some switch was flipped and they suddenly became the greatest collection of bluebloods ever.
Yet they talk about our third game of the season--a win under adverse conditions--as proof they'll manhandle us. What a bunch of tools over there.

Exactly-what they are really saying is that they know how to get within 3 based on an early close win over a bowl team. By the same logic we can model what a bowless team did and beat them by 20+.

Since he's breaking it apart, tell me when he gets to the part that explains:
1) 4 day preparation for a road game, since it was a Thursday night game right after playing on a Saturday...and then you have to count travel, which takes even more practice time away...
2) loss of wide receiver 2 games prior
3) QB in his 3rd game after coming back from an ACL surgery, in which he didn't start practice until the fall.
....sure that's the game to break down??
