did you read Mr Hood's post last Friday? Looks like Brad is coming back based on what he said, unless Brad doesn't want to. Or unless he takes another job. There is supposed to be a release on that sometime later this week...

In those regards, Mr. Neff is getting a failing grade with this. What's up with the complete silence? Gotta make some sort of definitive statement. Either he's staying (say why) or he's going. You can't just let it ride.
I honestly think the vast majority of Clemson nation wants a change, but we gotta hear from the university. They gotta say something. We are the "customers" and we need to hear a statement of some sort.
Where the heck are you, Neff? You have a job to do, and addressing this Brownell situation (elephant in the room) is high priority for your customers. You gotta say SOMETHING.

over his career he could actually have a very decent resume. He does a lot of other elements of the game very well. Being on the wrong side of one-score games 2/3 of the time though is a killer. Not a career killer obviously as he's gotten pretty fat and happy off of us, and the meter is still running, but a killer in terms of seasons and program energy.

Brad has done everything well at Clemson but hasn't won enough games or games at the right time.
If he would have won more of the close games over the years, then he would be worthy of being the 38th highest paid coach in America. But there's a DEFINITE trend of losing the majority of games requiring strong coaching and team intelligence down the stretch. It's been this way for most all of his 12 years.. the trend is clear and cannot be ignored any longer.
All we want is to make the tournament more frequently and to actually win more than 2 tournament games every 22 years. I like Brad and have hoped for a turnaround, but it was just the same in year 12.
Change is needed.

why don't you do us al la favor and hire him over at Anderson University.
You, like the Clemson University administration, may be content with twelve years of mediocre results and making the NCAAT only twice every eleven years, but most of the fans aren't.
I don't care who you are, those are unacceptable results by any standard or measure.

Yep usually no fun during BB season. Just something we have to go thru and be punished. Brad has got to be the most important coach ever for Clemson. No coach has done less and lasted longer.

I emailed Mr. Neff today as i did in December. He replied to me back then. I reiterated my call fora new coach and pointed out that we were not one of 100 teams in post season play. His email address has been posted here by others. It is neffg at clemson.edu.
Please express your satisfaction with the status quo ( sub mediocrity) or need for a change.
