In an interview w Noonan this past weekend, he said he has a checklist that he uses to evaluate recruits. Kids gotta check the right number of boxes or he doesn’t recruit them. The interviewer asked where he got the checklist and Noonan said he got it from Dabo and other Clemson coaches. Good stuff.

He’s a smart man, because both know how to recruit high caliber student-athletes.
(Don’t worry guys, we all know that Dat Boy does it better than anyone and in no way am I suggesting that Brownlee is anywhere close to the coach or recruiter Dabo is)

He is. He can coach em up. As for the recruiting list, all coaches have the same list. A certain amount is standard, then boxes pertaining to a certain position is different.
One really can't make that comparison in basketball. If bball and football had the same rules, one might could. 3 years removed from pro is different from a guy who can play out of high school.
Plus, bball is ahead of football in the portal, and one and done. Football sadly is catching up. As great as Dabo is, Bowden did a ton to bring prestige back to our FB program. Dabo had a huge head start.
As for Brad, you could argue OP did what Bowden did, but he didn't bring prestige to bball. Anyway, if you make a bball post, we could debate this year's team further. Didn't mean to hijack the thread.
Noonan is great, as is Dabo and Brownell.

Funny, in his on air interview he only mentioned Dabo. I’m sure you’d know the extent to which Brownell was involved.

I heard Noonan mention Dabo and other Clemson coaches. Either way, both of them seem to have recipes that work.
