are there really people complaining?

Oct 19, 2014, 9:46 AM

Haven't been since the game.

This was a great win. THIS is the game I was scared of.

These are the games, that when your team is not 100%, you earn the respect of the nation (those who are paying attention).

This team could have quit 3 games ago. THIS is not like the teams from a fee years ago who told the opponents to take it easy on them.

THIS is the Tiger football I grew up on.

Amen! We will look back on these games as real turning points for this program. I'd dare say there are not many teams that would chose to play this defense. Our team has been hit hard with injuries and yet we keep on working, never giving up.the most important thing we can do for this team is believe in them because they believe in each other! Go Tigers!

To be fair, there were people complaining about Danny's

up-the-middle, up-the-middle, up-the-middle, punt offensive play calling, yet they loved the Tigers and supported them 110%. Saying you don't like the play calling doesn't mean you are against the coaches or the team; you would just rather blow people out and be able to relax and enjoy the game without the blood pressure spikes. It may mean you like to retain your fingernails.

The old " up the middle and a cloud of dust" was the saying back then.

Love the win...

In fact, we struggle often at BC. I'll take it. Big time.
But, and there's always a but, assuming you "grew up" on the 70's, 80, early 90's teams, this was not the running game of that era.
Yes, the defense is excellent, perhaps our best in two decades. However, 112 yards rushing(32 on one carry) is not even close. On the positive side we seem to be improving(especially since BC has a stout defense) but we have a ways to go to even get close to running like those teams a generation ago.
However, that was a good win despite what others think.

My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.

If Leggett wasn't hurt? Is Choice wasn't hurt?

Play this stupid game all day. Can you answer why you're trying to bring down a tough win against a team that we routinely have trouble with???

IF they did.. but last time I checked.. they didn't. It is one of BC's weaknesses (the passing/catching game), and we knew it going in.

Many of us had this BC game circled on our calendars from the beginning of the year. We knew this would be a tough game no matter what parts of the roster were healthy.

A win is a win. Sorry to disappoint you, Gamecock.

....what Dabo and team have been able to do and to achieve. I am a huge supporter of this team and just want it to get better. We have to get better if we are ever going to compete for a natty!

Plus, I would like to watch a game and not be on pins and needles the whole freaking time! ??

We should be steamrolling these teams in the ACC.

Expecting improvement where it is obviously needed should be considered constructive, not destructive.
