Loudest game in Death Valley?

My ears are still ringing from the game Saturday night. Was the stadium louder for Saturday nights Georgia game or the 2005 Miami game?

No doubt it was loud, but think the loudest game was the Georgia Tech game when game day was here the last time. Need to keep on keeping it loud and proud!!!

But that was with piped in music. I think fan noise Sat night was as loud as I can remember hearing.

Speaking of music.... Why in the world do you play "Shout" at the end of a big game when the defense is on the field needing to make a big stop??? Don't think that is going to pump up any football player. That song is what you play for the fans when you are up 30 points and are bored.

They showed a decibel meter on the board during one of the loud points (not quite the loudest, but up there), and we were only hovering around 104-108db. Clemson Miami in 2005 was something like 126.6.

That was the loudest I can remember for 4 full quarters. The noise never stopped unless we had the ball. To be able to throw off a veteran QB was just awesome. And I never got told to sit down once! Just an awesome night! :) Go Tigers!
