Lot 25 parking?

Aug 28, 2017, 2:58 PM

How do they handle the parking in Lot 25? I know it is area parking, but do they have marked off spots? Does the lot get good Satellite reception? Any info would be great.

If you aren't standing behind our troops overseas, how about standing in front of them?!

We used parking lot 25 for about 4 years, since it is an area parking lot it's first come first serve. In those 4 years we got closed out of the parking lot only twice. It just depends on how diligent the parking attendant is with parking. My recommendation is don't go last minute and expect to get a good tailgating spot.

Do they line people up well? Do they count the mulch areas as parking spots, and can you get a larger spot if you park near then mulch?

They generally don't line people up, besides the ones up near the entrance that they can see easily. Sometimes for bigger games (when the lots tend to be more full), they'll be more strict and make sure people aren't taking up too much space.

You can park on the mulch but those generally go fast, as well as the front spots along 93. Some of those people have been tailgating there for 15+ years, and get there early.

The road and the parking spaces in front of Campus View are included in Lot 25, so you can get asphalt spaces there if you prefer and get there early enough.

Edit: Satellite reception shouldn't be a problem unless you are near the top of the lot under the trees, or in the bottom of the lot (downtown side) as there are trees there as well. You shouldn't have to run a cable more than 50' from your tailgate to get satellite signal no matter where you are in the lot.

I like Lot 25 a lot, other than it's on an incline. When it rains, it turns in to a slippery mudpit and I've even seen people have trouble get out. But overall I like it. The lot is more or less a free-for-all with no markings (other than the few on the road). Last time I parked there the attendants were decent at arranging cars, though they didn't pay a ton of attention. I never had a problem getting in though.

Do the rows go parallel with 93?

Spots have always been First Come First Served - Nothing lined off

TV hookups are plentiful so they must work very good

Best thing about the Lot- Easy In... and Very Easy OUT-
