Wonder what is so pressing that they need to get it out before next month?

My guess would be the Committee are aware DOJ is about to charge somebody and need to get out in front of it, otherwise it can be justifiably claimed they're interfering with a Federal case.
The only thing of which I am reasonably confident is I very much doubt it's Donald. Yet. My guess would be it's one (or several) of his lawyers...be it Rudy, Eastman, Sidney Powell, or Jenna Ellis. Traditionally lawyers are the hardest folks to prosecute because they're ordinarily careful...but the Elite Strike Team - they literally called themselves that - that went 1-for-61 on election cases and was also involved up to the eyeballs with the fraudulent electors and pressuring Pence and election officials were seemingly not remotely careful. They were in fact a bunch of cowboys who seemingly willfully broke laws left and right. And it's going to be very hard for them to claim they Knew No Better. They were lawyers.
So the general consensus among legal observers seems to be: in an inversion of usual M.O., the DOJ is likely going after the lawyers first...and then will in turn try to flip them. Being lawyers, they likely do know the value of evidence...and likely have a great deal to trade.
And oh, yeah: a judge has already ruled attorney-client privilege does not apply in this case because it was likely criminal.
https://thehill.com/policy/national-security/3515765-judge-orders-trump-attorney-to-turn-over-documents-to-jan-6-panel/Judge orders Trump attorney to turn over documents to Jan. 6 panel A federal judge ordered former President Trump’s legal adviser, John Eastman, to turn over another batch of 159 documents subpoenaed by the House Jan. 6 select committee, including a single email he found to likely be part of a criminal effort to overturn the 2020 election. The late Tuesday ruling adds to a decision earlier…
So my money's on Rudy or more probably Eastman. I suspect we will soon see.

I think that's probably right. The documentary video will

probably be featured prominently.
The first hearings likely created a fear among some participants in the scheme and attack that they need to speak up to avoid being blamed and/or indicted, causing them to come forward with what they know.

Although the ones who haven't talked yet are probably the very ones who couldn't...because they're in the crosshairs of the DOJ.
I suspect we're unlikely to ever hear from those folks publicly. Anything they say publicly becomes an official statement...that can and likely will be used against them very shortly.
There's been nothing but complete silence from those accused of the worst stuff. Which says a great deal.
Everyone who could wash their hands of this mess probably already has.

much, much sooner with video and information he had to know was pertinent to the committee.
Cooperation regarding what they know about those higher up the ladder may be the only way some of those on the lower rungs avoid more severe punishment.

Something...Something...Thomas's wife...something. The whole SC gets a zero confidence vote from the committee. Dems throw fits, abolish the filibuster, and the SC is absorbed into the DOJ (to prevent any future bias).

What a cow... In order for her to worry about "my choice"

she would first need to find some male willing to "have relations" with her. I'm sure that somewhere on this planet there is a dude desperate enough to consider doing it with that cow but not anyone I've ever known - and that includes a lot of past military guys who ain't real picky...

I suspect this "surprise" was orchestrated from the

beginning. There will likely be some substance to it - but I'm sure their Hollywood producers told them they would need to do something like this to create some buzz.
It has worked - the media-types I watched last night and this morning were VERY excited.
