If we were to play him against Auburn and lose him for most of the season to injury, then we'd really have cause to be upset. Thankfully, Joe Gore has gotten good reviews from the coaches.

Agreed, just let him recover and get his work in. Plus this causes the next person in line to step up because they are the go to person!

If you read some of the Chad's comments, it sounds like Freeman hasn't gotten very many snaps at RT, and has been practicing almost exclusively at C

... inconsistent with the situation IMHO. When Timothy went down with the injury, there was the chance that he might be out of action for a long time.
Now there is a chance that, even though he doesn't start, he could contribute in the Auburn game.
It is easy to see how Dabo would be "pleased and encouraged" with that outlook.
