No amount of friendly smiles or fake Christian sensibility can cover for the salt blocks they call chicken or the bland concoctions they call waffle fries.
Their sauces are pretty good. I like to buy a fruit cup and then ask for 6 sauces so that I have something to dip my McNuggets in. At least McNuggets don't PRETEND to be good.
Popeyes sucks, CFA isn’t much better. I prefer to buy co-op farm raised cage free chickens, marinate them in buttermilk and Franks, dust them in seasoned flour and fry them in peanut oil in my hand me down cast iron. If I want a sandwich, I’ll either bake some brioche buns myself or buy some fresh, make a garlic-herb aioli, pull some pickles or pickled red onions out of the larder, and enjoy the fruits of my labors with the smug satisfaction that I spent $75 and 36 hours on a sandwich that lesser mortals would pick up out of a drive through window.
Look, CFA is a fine sammich. We grew up with it. The service is fantastic.
That said, it's half the size of the Popeye's filet, and it's soggy compared to Popeye's, too. Those are two of the absolute top criteria for chicken sammie quality, and if you try to act like CFA is close on either, then you're either intentionally obtuse and disingenuous, or dead on the inside.

that say "it's a real slapper" when if it were legitimately good music it would actually make it to the radio and not a youtube upload with 12,000 views.
The reason that Florida Georgia Line is more popular than, say those Youtube artists you reference, is the same reason that Wal-Mart is the most popular store in America. Same for McDonald's.
They sell crap for the masses who don't know any better. Just like CFA.
Popeye's in AL that they called a "chicken sandwich". I guess it could have been a one-off, but CFA don't cook mafacking "one-offs". They are consistently delicious and timely no matter where I procure them.
sounds better even though not many people agree with you then it's better because you say so. Yes there is something to it that people will buy up #### like FGL (yeah boi). But on the other hand if some of these slappers really were good, someone would pick them up to try and turn a profit off them.
They don’t even attempt to spell their name with any decent normalcy! Clearly they are trying to attract the ne'er-do-wells of society. If you want a decent chicken sandwich, there is a small restaurant named “La Broche” in Lyon, France that makes a chicken sandwich that will, as they say, “knock your socks off.”

He insisted on it. I gave him quite the pay increase for his generosity. So I guess, in some way, I have in fact “mooched off of my in-laws”, as you call it. I now realize that I am a man of the people. A common man, so to say. It feels… nice.
