The most important factor is average rank per recruit. If you're recruiting for needs, you can have a small class which will crush your overall ranking. I think it was 2017 where we we like #20 in class ranking but #2 in average rank per recruit. We flew first class in that metric for about 5 years is a row. Now we're premium economy.

Go look at the class ranks leading up to the Championship with DW4. Also, UGA is a prime example that top tier recruiting doesn’t necessarily mean championships, Kirby has had a top 2 class every year since he started & it took him 4 years to make it to the playoffs after his first year. It’s all about developing these dudes. If you’re in the top 15 you can compete for a title. Just have to develop your players

class averages in the Premium Economy and borderline Business Class (12.25 and 10.75) - we are looking well positioned at the moment for more greatness ahead.
Remember, we aren't the hoity-toity types up there in First Class - we're the rednecks that moved into the neighborhood that you can't get rid of, the goofs with slides and putt putt courses.
