Long time Notre Dame hater here

I grew up a Purdue fan, so a hatred of a Notre Dame is pretty much hard wired into my system. The narrative being spun out by the national media today isn't surprising to me at all. This is the same media that tried to convince us that Ty Willingham was a legit coach, and the same media that tried to push Charlie Weiss as the greatest offensive mind in the game. This is the same media that happily sweeps Brian Kelly's antics on the sideline and two major scandals involving Notre Dame football under the rug. You will hear about Notre Dames heroic comeback attempt, and will hear little about how they ended up needing a comeback. You will hear about how they are injured, but you won't hear about Clemson missing Mike Williams, DJ Reader, Korrin Wiggins etc... You will hear about how the weather hurt Notre Dame, but you won't hear that Clemson was hurt much more by the downpour because we have significantly better skill players. You will hear every Notre Dame excuse, and it would not shock me to see a 1 loss Notre Dame team jump and undefeated Clemson team in the polls his season. Oh, and to the butt hurt Notre Dame fan that was sad Clemson fans were celebrating after the game, well, I've been to South Bend in opposing colors and it's never been a super fun and cordial experience. It always feels like a town in New Jersey was picked up and moved to Indiana, and their fans act accordingly.
