Long term SEC plans?

Couldn’t the SEC be posturing to create a completely new division?

Add TX and OK. Then come after 4 more schools to get to 20.

At that point, another 4 and you get enough to eliminate the NCAA and force one more conference of 24 made up of those outside of SEC.

Now you have 2 conferences of 24 that leave NCAA to form their own division - and they can decide who gets in and gets left out.

This could be a move toward creating a whole new “ballgame” of major players without the NCAA getting involved. A “workaround” to get to a new super division based on who the SEC superpowers want in.

Not sure how they get rid of the “have nots” that are currently in SEC. could they vote Vandy out? KY may be in for BB... do the others turn on MSU and/or Mississippi?

In that case, they would have to drop USUC also, bc they have dead weight from day one of their SEC affiliation!!!!!!

Frankly I'd love to see 20 teams.they could eventually wear each other down over the course of a season.

I think they plan to build a super conference so most of the best players will be recruited there. If so, there goes college football.
