I saw this boat 2 weekends ago under the Ravenel bridge. It was too rough and too many people were in my boat to catch up to it.

Its badass. Full FLIR instrmentation, seakeeper gyro, twin diesel pods, front bow thruster.
I agree--I'd much rather have a sporty than the Scout. Would probably cost less, too.

Seven Marine makes a 627HP outboard that they could put 4 of on it.

Thinking about it, I guess they could only run 3/6 (1 both sides, 1 in the "middle") to plane out, but I don't know how it would handle. The 400 Mercury's weigh 668 lbs each, so I'm assuming the boat would plane with 3--maybe not?

If you can afford a $1.5 million boat, gas and maintenance aren't huge issues for you.
