to find gas at $4.07 a gallon (in Anderson yesterday). Especially after seeing it go up to $4.45 at some places in Greenwood this morning. Big differences from one city block to the next the last few days. What are y'all seeing where you are?

I find myself in a great situation that my boss closed our office during covid and doesn't plan to open it back up after our work production increased.
2 hours less of commuting a day does a lot for the wallet strain these days.
That being said it was 4.29 by my house in Charlotte.

Charlotte area as well…and I honestly couldn’t tell you what the gas price is. Long time teleworker and kids are out of the house so I maybe fill up once every three to four weeks. Wife’s commute is 5 miles and she is out for the summer (teacher)…so I don’t really take notice.
Go back 10 years when my wife and I both drove to uptown charlotte, kids were playing travel soccer, and we had a Yukon XL…and I’m sure I would be singing a much different song!!

Im just south of Charlotte and gas went up .10 cents over night to 4.29. Unfortunately I switched jobs so I have to go into the office (south park) now. I got a pretty hefty pay increase to switch but having the option to work from home at my last place is really really awesome.

Yeah…you do what you have to do…but working from home is a sweet gig…plus South Park isn’t that bad from Fort Mill (wife used to make that commute)…although, not sure where you are exactly.

I’m seeing that Jet-A is cheaper in England than in the USA.
THAT can’t be explained away. THAT is about the GREED of US OIL.
While our entire country is suffering under the increased cost of fuel, which directly increases the cost of everything else, the US Oil companies are laughing all the way to the bank.
Rest easy though, your suffering will allow billionaires to rake in alltime record profits.

My gas went from$4.79 to $5.55. Staying at home.
Wife just called and said she pasted 3 Shell stations and they had gone to $5.69. Total bs.

not a mortar round - I don't think those things bounce... or at least not far enough to fly over someones head after initial contact. But then again, you wouldn't expect an RPG to bounce either - maybe more of a skip since the ground was covered with a couple of inches of rainwater.

Had to look up McColl…sounded familiar. I lived in Florence for a few years when I started my first job out of college…used to make a trip to Laurinburg, Laurel Hill, or Maxton occasionally, so probably drove right through there. I do remember driving through Society Hill.

I filled up at $4.29 and that station followed the others in the area up to $4.49 for reg before !:00pm. I too was lucky this time.
